“Pinay” is a word pertaining to Philippine women, Filipino girls and derived from a word “pinoy” which means, a Philippine country man. But as time goes by we patterned it to words like “tito” and “tita”, “lolo” and “lola”, “kahero” and “kahera”, “basurero” and “basurera”, “Dino” and “ Dina”, “Berto” and “Berta”. As “o” for boy and “a” for girl, so because of the word “Pinoy”; Earth gives birth to the word “Pinay”.
